Sara is doing very well now, her movement of her back legs has improved enormously since she went onto plt tablets. She walks much better and further now, although she still hates her lead. on a walk on the mountain this summer She is such a sweet natured girl and loves to watch over the smaller dogs like a mum with her pups today she even started playing chase the toy with our grandson and jumping around the room, which she couldn't have ever done before.

Sara went to see the vet this week to show off the improvement in her mobility, now that the plt tablets are working. Karen was pleased with her, although she does have to lose about 1kg, as the tablets contain steroids which have caused some weight gain. Sara loves her food and hates weight watching, but for the good of her legs we must keep her weight down. Sara actually stands with her front feet up on the sofa or bed now, putting her full weight on those back, legs, which she could never do before. She moves around and plays like the puppy she missed out on being. It's a joy to see She is so pleased with herself when she's playing, you can see how happy she is to be able move without the pain

Sara is still doing well She welcomes all the new fosters with open paws, mothering those that need it. She is really enjoying life and it shows on her face and with a waggy tail.

Sara is what Friends of the Animals RCT is all about. She is a wonder and is proof of what amazing creatures dogs are. She is one of the most damaged dogs we have ever had and to see her enjoying life is wonderful.
I have picked up her meds Pauline, just need to get the snow buggy out to get them to you.

There is no doubt about it you are all such wonderfull people the way you take on these poor animals, the love and care you give them makes me feel humble, we do take on rescued dogs and will continue to do so. I wish Sara all the best in the world and all of you for what you do, Bless you all.
