Shadow will be going to live with my friends and he really could not have found a nicer home. They are fab. I will have to go see him and get some pics once he's settled in ;D

I am so happy that Shadow has got himself such a fab family but I miss him so much. It was very tough letting him go and I felt awful that he would feel he had beeen abandoned. I know it had to be done and that a home of his own was the best possible thing for him but sometimes it is very hard to let go.

Just thought I'd let you know that Shadow is doing great ;D He did miss you, Eileen, when you went and had a little howl but he quickly settled down. He has been going over to the park with Tony and been off lead playing with his ball. He is great in the house, they left him while they popped to the shops yesterday, I think, and he was fine. He has even been a little cheeky today sneaking onto the sofa for a cuddle ;D He's fab with the cats and the dogs he has met so far on his walks. Jess and Tony are very relieved to have a dog friendly dog as Bobby, their previous dog, was a nightmare with most other dogs. They are having to get used to not scanning the horizon and making swift exits as they are used to.

I am popping in to see them quickly tomorrow so will try and get a pic of him but we won't stay long as I don't want to stress him out.

Thank you so much Eileen. Jess and Tony are just fab people, they are like my adoptive parents and like Josh's grandparents so I am so pleased for them to have Shadow ;D

I am so happy to hear that Shadow has settled. I so wanted to keep him as one of mine but that would have been selfish and not in his best interests. I miss him and having him glued to my leg, such a wonderful boy.

Thank you so much for all your help in finding him this special home. I knew when I read your post on DP that he would be perfect for them.

I met the lovely Shadow today! What an appropriate name for him as he is Jess's little shadow, bless him. He was a bit nervous when I first got there but after a while he let me stroke him and he gave me a big sloppy kiss on my lips ;D He was slightly more nervous of Josh but then Josh is almost man sized now rather than child but he had a little sniff of Oliver's toes and cleaned them for him. He is just the sweetest little thing and is already training Jess and Tony, he likes chicken, pate and loads of other yummy things that I've forgotten. I have a picture of him but my brain is a bit fried cause I am tired so I will try and get it on tomorrow.

Benji left for the bridge this afternoon where I am sure without doubt his mum was waiting for him.
