What a wonderful dotage it sounds like Wilfred is having. He's got right under my skin, I'm not sure why.
You are wonderful for looking after him the way you're doing. Thank-you for keeping us up to date with him and posting pictures. I love his long tail!

Wilf is doing really well this week, whatever happened 2wks ago, he is now fully recovered ;D here's a clip taken the other day showing just how much he looks forward to his tea [a href=" "][/a][/url] He didn't actually bump into Titch, just came up a bit fast and frightened the poor little man, Robbie off course wasn't fazed at all

Wilf had a fab time at the show on saturday he was on the go all day, although towards the end he was falling asleep in the show ring. He's been having some nice times the last few days and also plenty of these

Wilf has been doing well, but the heat has got to him a bit, his back legs are quite wibbly and he's not so interested in his food as normal. I really do hope he's back to himself when it gets cooler here's a pic I took off him exchanging thoughts with Robbie the other day I am finally getting him to have a cuddle on my lap, but only for a few seconds before he wants to get down again and wander back to his bed in the kitchen, he still won't sleep on a bed in the front room with the rest of us

Wilfred has gone to the bridge. he was not at all well last week and a lump had come up on the inside of his back leg. I took him to the vets and she thought it was a heamatoma and best left alone. Paulin and Phil have felt he was going down hill recently and are away for a few days at a family funeral. Wilfred has been staying with Jude who has been worried becasue he was not drinking or eating. Jude and I took him bacl to the vets this afternoon and the decision was made to let him go. We could tell how poorl;y he was because he wasn't trying to take chunks out of our hands. He has been a wonderful old gent and will be missed by us all.

I'm so sorry to hear this. I hadn't read this when I spoke to you a few minutes ago. Sending hugs to Pauline and Phil and Jude and Eileen and everyone who knew and loved Wilf and who gave him so much during his last few months in this life . Run free little man Wilf and have lots of fun at the Bridge. Katherine XXX

I was lucky enough to meet this lovely gent at the show in May. He was such a character and made me laugh for ages at his barking at anyone who walked into the conservatory Then by the end of the day he was so tired he was just laying down in the show ring and couldn't be bothered to do a lap of honour - not even for Edwina Currie! ;D My thoughts are with Pauline and Phil, who do such fab work with all the dogs they care for xx
