It looks like Dolly is saying
"Here's looking at you kid!!"
Chris - is Eva a Many Tears girl? I seem to remember a couple came into their rescue around a year ago?

Dolly can`t stay sorry, she is a foster and I don`t fail. IF I did that would mean I could no longer foster as I already have 3 dogs of my own Eva is from MT, she was Trixey woo the 2nd one, I tried for Beth the 1st one but didn`t get her sadly, no one knows why. I do love my BMD`s she is my 2nd one, I just love them as so gentle and kind and don`t drool, Eva had been VERY abused and its been a LONG road, she has pain killers daily for her spine.

OoPpsss I thought it said staying not SAYING that will teach me to read properly and not try to post just before I have to go do the school run. Dolly changed beds while I was out getting Rhi from school. I will try to post pics of my other girls in photo`s later, all rescues but Eva is the most damaged both physically and psychologically.

Her eyes are getting more life in them each photo and each day ;D Those hairy feet are a beggar ...I get a row when Babyben goes for his six-monthly bath and tidy ......I can't do them to groomers standard and when you think what she must have been walking on ,the gunk will have been well stuck and needed far more than a bath , deffo a pro needed. Hopefully she''ll be a lot more comfortable .

Dolly would like to say Thank You to Woody & Gang and Kim for her parcel that the postman brought her this morning Dolly is cuddling her toy and shared 1 treat with each of the girls, I will keep those just for her. Dolly has eaten her breakfast in bed in record time and is now snoozing cuddled up in her duvet. Kim she just ate one of your treats the 1st one here, not out of my hand but I know that will come in time. I had a break through with her last night, I said her name and she looked at me, she even put her head forward for a stroke, her eyes are getting more life in them and she is more relaxed. I spent ages last night sitting talking to her, massaging her and she seemed to enjoy it. Even one of my cats is trying to show her how nice it is to be stroked, he did get a little too close to her but she didn`t react and I moved him away.

Good to hear dolly is coming along, i found that walking with them with your hand gently on her neck helps (around the house)

I wondered why that is though? Obviously she may have changed now at Chris's but was fascinated as the other ex breeding girls were the same.

It sounds like your girls are helping Dolly just the way my oldies have helped many of the dogs passing through here. They just sit back and let the new baby interact with them at their own pace, but give their support where it's needed
Massage is good too
I use the t touch method
I've had some really good results in various dogs for various reasons I'm using basic touches on Sara at the moment and it really does seem to be helping her back legs
I used it with our oldie Jessie and I'm sure it made her fits less frequent, I know for sure I was able to bring her round from the fits faster by massaging her head and neck during the fit.
I'm also finding it helps Wilf remain in our world rather than going off with the fairies
I'm no expert with the t touch and mainly self taught, plus a workshop Eileen organized a while back, but in my experience it really can help in many situations.

she's looking much more relaxed now. It's great to see how far she's come from those very first photos.

Last night Dolly ate a treat out of my FLAT hand, she is beginning to trust, I am so pleased.
Dolly is a clever girl, she has learned the dog flap and I didn`t teach her. I assume she followed Eva out, she came back in through the open door when Rhi went to find her. The down side is, she demolished 1/2 of my cottage garden, it will grow back next year but its flattened.
I took Dolly with me to do the pony last night, she stayed in the car, partly to get her used to traveling, to which she seems to enjoy and partly to give my own dogs a break.
I think Dolly has been high up in the order of breeding bitches as she is trying out my girls, she has growled at them all now, not lunging just seeing who is where here. Eva is giving her lots of space and Holly is just staying out of the away, Dolly seems better with my little Maya, maybe as she is puppy sized.

Chris if she is anything like daisy i don't think it's pecking order growling, it seemed to me like they were kept in groups and did it to keep there space/bouncy pups/young ones away, kind of like keeping your own space to yourself if you get what i mean, she just need's to learn that there isn't a large rabble of dogs going to invade her!!
