Dolly`s tummy seems fine, she is on the food Katrina sent and it seems to agree with her.
Eva is a Bernese Mountain Dog and Dolly is showing just how far Eva has come on in a year, although I think she was more damaged than Dolly.

Dolly has eaten her breakfast has a wonder outside and come back in again on her own and is now dozing on a dog bed. She seems so tired bless her, I`m sure with lots of food and sleep she will soon put some of the weight on that she needs. She did have an accident in the night but no matter once she has settled we will begin house training, for now I am happy that she seems to be interested in whats going on here. My girls are staying near but not crowding her, just gentle reassurance that it is ok here, Eva seems to have taken to her and slept near her in the kitchen last night. Oh my goodness Chris ;D She actually left her bed of her own accord to have a wonder around? ? That is AMAZING. She never left her bed of her own accord here, I had to prompt and lead her everytime. She must be feeling really comfortable at your house. There just wasn't the room her for her to feel comfortable as she was in such close proximity to my two here. It sounds like she is doing brilliantly and I am so gald she's been to the loo as it took her a good many hours to feel happy enough to do that here. I have her vaccination card here, I left it in the glovebox on Sunday so I must send that to you this week. She's due her second lot in four weeks from the date on the paper I gave you. Would you be able to pm me your address? I'm so happy for Dolly, I really am. She couldn't ask for a better foster mom in you ;D Thank yuo for the lovely photo!!!! She loves her food ;D

I will pm you Katrina.
Dolly did lunge at Eva today when she got too near Dollys bed, it was a token protest, no contact and Eva fled as I knew she would. Eva soon returned to the next dog bed and all has been well since. I think Dolly is just enjoying her comfort and has NO intentions of sharing her bed thank you muchly.
Dolly has snoozed the day away in between watched whats going on and following me around with her eyes. She is watching my dogs and taking it ALL in.
I am pleased with progress as she does seem a little more relaxed than yesterday.

I just know you need those eyedrops soon as there weren't many left in the bottle. I did tell her on the phone too so hopefully they'll be there soon. I am sorry about the lunge but very glad there was no contact. Unfortunately Sheebles didn't take kindly to the lunges, she's not as tolerant as beautiful Eva . It is as you say though, I think Dolly is just so grateful and pleased to have a lovely bed and lovely things and she's worried about it being taken away by another dog. She'll realise soon though that she'll always have luxury now for the rest of her life. She does sleep soooo much doesn't she! Just totally worn out, poor girl. She had even begun to roach in her bed here which was lovely, it didn't take her long to start smiling and enjoying things. It was so lovely having her here and like you I loved watching her watching ;D She's a bright girl and a lovely girl. Has she licked you or taken any food from your hands yet? She didn't manage that here, would like to know when she does Thanks for all the brilliant updates, everyone is addicted to her story x x x x x

Dolly hasn`t taken food out of my hand or licked me yet, she is getting some attention but I`m not over doing it as I want her to settle in 1st and she is SO tired bless her. She seems to feel the cold and I wrap her up with a duvet at night, she isn`t spoiled at all.
She is starting to sleep less curled up so we have the beginnings of her relaxing here.
I had forgoten to pm Eileen I will do it today and more food would be welcome, Thank You katrina.
I have only just mastered putting photo`s on with Woodysgangs mum help, thank you Kim.
Eva is VERY special, she has spinal damage from suspected beating whiles in the PF, not operable on and she is such a lovely kind girl, a true gentle giant who is loved by every one who meets her, dogs seem to like my Eva too.

Thank You Eileen Could she please have ear drops too, they are very yucky. I have cut out all the hair between her pads as it was not nice and very over grown, She can now walk on her pads not hair, she was a good girl and let me do it, she had a rest between each 2 paws, no pulling her paws back just let me do it. Some one is going to get a VERY nice dog with her, she is so sweet and easy to do for despite being unsure of whats going on.

Pm me your address please Chris I did check her pads and clean them when we bathed her, I also cut a lot of the hair off but obviously didn't do it properly as I thought they were okay (I'm still learning though).............opps! At least they are sorted now!!!! Do you think that's why she walked slowly? Would it have been uncomfortable? She also had her nails cut here but her dew nails -although I cut them- the quick is quite long in them.

No worry Kaatrina, the hair between her pads was matted and had YUCK in it, I`m a groomer of 30 years and its done now, it meant going in as far as possible and carefully cutting the mats out. HUG.
I think she is walking slowly as she is scarred, the hair wouldn`t have helped either, she can walk comfortably now. There was a loud bang when I had her in the garden earlier on her lead and she came to me, another bang and it was too much she wanted IN fast, no idea what it was probably work men in the village dropped some thing.
She can rest now as enough for one day, she doesn`t seem to be sleeping as much today, she seems content to watch me clean my kitchen and do my jobs but likes to know where I am.
