Barney was due to come into the rescue this week He's been having fits for a year now and his family felt recently that he would be better in a home without a young baby, as this did cause Barney some stress. So they contacted us.
I called tonight to make arrangements for Barney to come in and his mum said that they had to let him go to the bridge last night, he was having fits 45 mins at a time, he was in pain and distress and it was decided to let him go rather than put him through any more.
Barney was just 3 yrs old
Rest in peace little man

Oh how tragic, that is desperately sad So sad that they were going to have to give him up [what a very hard but kind decision to make] but to have to go through that is just awful. Safely with the other Bridge Angels now, no more suffering.

It was a hard decision to make for the family I am sure but I know how awful it is to see a pet fitting. You can run free now Barney at the Bridge - free from those horrible fits. Love Andrea xx
