Run free darling Max, so young, gone too soon.
I just wanted to let you know, that I made it home. The journey was,nt an easy one, but it did'nt take too long.
Everything is so pretty here, so white, so fresh and new. I wish that you could close your eyes and that you could see it too.
Please try not to be sad for me. Try to understand God is taking care of me.....I'm in the shelter of his hands.
Here there is no sadness, no sorrow, and no pain. Here there is no crying and I'll never hurt again.
Here it is so peaceful when all the angels sing. I really have to go now.....I've just got to try my wings. x

What a lovely idea. But the greatest thing we can all do in memory of Max and also Derek is to continue to support doing what FOA does best - caring for dogs who would otherwise never be cared for or know love. Without amazing people from FOA, dogs such as Max and Derek would not ever know love nor would their loss be mourned . Painful and distressing as it is to lose such special and much loved pups; it is truly humbling and inspiring to know there will be so many pups who will know a safe and loving home due to special people who pay the personal price of ensuring such special pups make their final journey comforted and knowing they are loved. Special people who ensure special dogs have every opportunity to be loved -that's why I am so proud to support FOA - RCT God Bless Max and Derek -we couldn't save you but there will be so many more we can and will save and they will know the same love and peace you knew- for all of their lives.

Thank you Ck I can tell you its so quite without him on our walks he was a cracking dog and I know Sue and myself miss him dearly but we knew it was bad so we did our best along side Clare and Eileen to make sure he had a great last few weeks without suffering.. Least now he is running free avoiding water and lying in mud everyday without fail with all the other missed animals RIP Maxasquillion xx

I was thinking of Maxasquillion the other day.. He used to make me smile so much and even now when driving he pops in my head like the time he wouldnt cross the stream in fear of geeting his paws wet and they way he just looked so silly and confused on how to cross.. Hope your enjoyinh the bridge Maxasquillion xx
