Katherine I just had this converstaion with Jan. To be honest he is as happy as larry in kennels. He is loved by everyone and has a great time.
To disrupt him at this time would not be in his best interest I think. As long as we can make sure he gets to go out every day until we know the situation I think he would have a ball.

I know ..I just can't bear the thought of him being alone at some point..if you see what I mean.
Lets try and be optimistic...

Gutted If it does come back bad news and he has limited time I can always try and set something up here so I can take him. But I do also understand what your saying Eileen and he looks so happy and is very muched loved where he is. And maybe the change wouldnt be good for him. Either way he is loved by allot of people and is in the best hands. Big hugs being sent to maxy xx

Oh no - I didn't want to read that! One of my forum members has just lost her lovely shih tzu to mouth cancer and it was so aggressive! I hope it is not that bad for the lovely lad. It is so unfair. He looks to be such a happy lovely dog - a real canine treasure Sending big hugs from me and my pair xxxxx

OH my goodness!!! Just read the threads, although I did have a voicemail from Louise when I was in work.
Poor Max. I'm devastated for Max,he really is such a lovely dog,has a real zest for life and so much energy.
Although his gum looked swollen when we took him out last Monday, I just thought some more antibiotics and pain killers would do the trick. I never dreamt I'd be reading this today.
He is a beautiful dog with a nature to match, and I was certain that as soon as he got himself a forever home he would calm down and be a fantastic companion. He is so loveable and just wants to be loved. He started to bond with me , although everyone is Max's friend!!! I feel so sad for him.
Such a young dog,it's so sad to hear this , but fingers crossed that it won't be as bad as it seems

Had a chat with Karen the vet when I picked Max up and she is pretty convinced that we will be getting bad news when the results come back. She has sent it as urgent and would hope they are back around Wednesday.
Max came bounding out full of fun as always.

He is such a star Eileen I am totally gutted and looked a right twit balling my eyes out in the middle of town, I have a very bruised wrist from nerve block so would have real trouble walking him for a few days. I just don't know what to say fingers crossed, he is very happy in kennels and loves to play fetch so he will get as much as. This as possible x x

I'm also very upset to hear this news. It's been obvious how much joy Max has brought to all those who have been in contact with him and I know how awful you must be feeling now. Life really is a b***h sometimes. Will be holding Max in our hearts very tightly up here
