I can tell you I am more than a little worried about my human. She has taken me to these boot sales before and not once have we come home with any but on Sunday I think she went to far.
How can you take a dog with three legs to buy boots? Do you buy two pairs and keep one as a spare or do you get one pair and leave one paw bootless? We took that lump of a dog Chico with us. Now I have to say I thought it was rubbing salt into it and a blatant disregard of his feelings. Anyway he seemed to enjoy himself and lots of people came and scratched his ears and although i did have my nose a little pushed in I have a big heart and I can share, well only if I want to.
We had that mixed up teabag Rocky with us. Talk about confused he is. He wants to be friends but thinks we all want eat him. I told him c@chill@. We also had that little babe, Becca, with us. Talk about a looker but how can a dog run around with its nose stuck to the ground all the time, asking for trouble.
Today she dragged me out of my bed again and off we went looking for boots again! This was a new place and lots of new smells. We had bonkers boy Patch with us and my little Cerys came too. She loves trips out and my human and her friend took us for a nice walk before we came home. Patch spent the whole time running after a ball. What is the point? Cerys had a mooch about in the grass, smelling the flowers.

Ben, if you buy enough boots you will soon have enough for a spare set of three. They might not match, but that is considered quite funky I believe. You will need to buy 6 pairs of boots. I expect that Eileen has done the maths!

Well how busy have I been the last couple of weeks. Haven't even had time to tell you about my holiday but will do that later. My human has had me out and about all over the place but I did have to stay home with that fruitcake Patch and the munch bunch gang a couple of times cos it is holidays again when the scrawny little people get off school..
We did go to that new school one day. The one with the nice bushes in the garden and who do you think I met?
No, I knew you wouldn't guess. It was my old mum. She read in the paper that my human and her friends were having a get together for new helpers and she came to find out how I was getting on. Well you could have knocked her over when she saw me in the wheelie thing. She gave me loads of cuddles and some sausages but I couldn't understand why she had all that water coming from her eyes. Humans are very odd. I thought she would be happy to see me having so much fun!
My human does that sometimes, quite a lot lately when she cuddles Cerys the Westie who has the poorly face and mouth. Anyway to get back to my old mum. I told her I was fine, that I get to go out and about now all the time and meet lots of new humans even though no one has wanted to have me for their friend. She says she knows what a grumpy old what sit I can be at times and how I did have a nibble of her a couple of times.
She says she has one of those pictures with the hands together. Each morning she puts her hands on there and says prayers for me. Whatever they are, think I prefer sausages.
Anyway she told my human that she thinks I look really welly and how happy she is that I am being loved and looked after. Then more of that water from her eyes. Humans!

Hi, I have just read all about Ben and what a wonderful character he is!! I couldn't believe what I'd read when I saw the first photo of Ben with his halo beaming! What a handsome fella Ben is and I wish I could have him! I have said it many times and I'll probably say it many more times! "Well done, you are doing a wonderful job as a fosterer and I don't know how you let them go I'm pretty sure I could'nt! Especially the dogs with the heartbreaking stories of their terrible lives!" Good Luck Ben. I'll be keeping an eye on what happens to you and I can't wait to read the next installment of your book-to-be! (If it does go to print I'll buy a book or 2! Make a good present!)

Do we ever stop? No we don't. I lose track of what day it is sometimes. As long as we get to sausage day I don't mind. That's the day we get to have sausages for dinner, ooh yummy, much tastier than that healthy stuff she feeds us the rest of the time.
Had a few sad days of late. My human says that Sandie the cute little Jack Russell who pinched my bed has gone to somewhere called the bridge. She says it is a wonderful place where animals get to be young again and don't have any aches and pains. Odd that she is so sad that Sandie has gone there, it sounds great to me. She says we will all go there one day and I am ok with that as long as they have a wheelie thing and all those dogs stay out of my favorite squishy bed.
Had a couple of newbies join us. Their mum went to this bridge place and they were left in the house and pretty scared till someone found them. Their mum must have been very poorly for a long time cos she forget to take them to the vet so they are in a bit of a mess. The scruffy one, Benji, had to stay in the vets for two nights as he had an operation. When he first arrived he was trying to wee all the time but none would come out. We all showed him how but it wouldn't work. My human told me he had a huge stone stuck so he was very poorly. Seems an odd place to keep a stone but now it's gone he can wee like the rest of us. He also has a very sore ear and he keeps trying to bite my human when he has his ear stuff in it. She says never mind cos she would bite someone if her ear was that sore and they tried to put things in it.
The other one Shadow is a nice guy but scared of everything. He has a bad eye and runs away when he sees the eye drops coming. My human told him he has to have them 6 times a day so I think he needs to chill. He is giving my human kisses now so he does forgive her. I think they are missing their mum but I guess they are feeling a bit better now the're not on their own.
My human says eight of those scrawny little people are going to help me write my book. I am going to have to go to school so they can meet me and take my picture. How lucky are they! Bet I will have to have a bath first though. It can be hard being a celebrity sometimes. Have had a little think and if anyone buys my book, which they are sure to, I will give the money to Mace and Erin so they can see again. I was going to spend it on a new bandanna but that Erin is a little cutie and Mace is pretty cool.

She had me up with the birds again this morning. Well peacocks really cos there are two that wander round here all the time screeching away. We didn't go in the wheelie thing but in something she calls a Sunshine Bus. I have been in it before and thought I was in for a day at the park, maybe a stroll on the beach or perhaps an amble through the woods. Was I heck, she picked up some of those strange people called teenagers and where did we go? Yes, you knew didn't you, a boot sale. She must have mislaid her imagination somewhere I think, like she does with her glasses.
Seems these teenagers are from where she works and they want to get something called money to buy trophies for a competition so she took them to a boot sale. They were a pretty nice bunch and my human says that teenagers are like rescue dogs. Some are a bit mixed up, don't know what is expected of them and when scared or upset they sometimes growl and bite. They were nice to me so I let them have a ride in the bus. They even shared some cakes with me so I might let them come out with me again.
My human promised me we could have the paddling pool out when we got home but that thing that rings went off and we had to go and get a dog that was in a spot of bother instead. Seems a whole load of dogs were chasing her around the streets so a kind lady had got her safe in her garden. Can't remember why they would be after her but I think I new once upon a time. Nice little Staffy girl and a bit of a looker. She didn't have one of those chip things and no collar, hope her humans come to find her.

Gotta big day on tomorrow. The boss (she isn't but I let her think she is cos it makes her feel good about herself) is taking me to meet some of those scrawny little people in school. Seems these little year 6 nippers are going to produce my blog and of course they want to meet me first.
Have been warned that I must be a good boy and of course I will. I will wag my tail and smile and if I am very lucky they may have a treat for me. I am going to have a photoshoot as well would you believe.
It is such hard work being a star!

Hi guys, just thought I would touch base with you all as I am up in the smoke for the day. Have been for a stroll on Wormwood Scrubs common and had a chin wag with a few London dogs.
Blinking heck they do talk strange in these foreign parts not proper like we do in the valleys. Anyway we dropped off Max the pup with poorly hips off at his foster home in Swindon on the way and then we went to meet someone called Blue Grizzle. Well to tell you the truth I thought we were going to meet one of those big bears with a hair rinse and I had a few wobbles in my tum I can tell you. Needn't have worried. It was a very nice lady and man who took Marley off to live with them while he looks for a home.
That dog must have springs in his paws the way he bounces about. Those terriers are all bonkers if you ask me. We picked up a pretty little Jack Russell called Missy. She's a bit scared of me at the moment but she will soon join the fan club.
Spending the afternoon chilling out and my human says we can drive home when it cools down a bit. Wonder if I get to sit in the front?
