Its nearly 4 weeks Rosie Buttons since you left for Rainbow Bridge, we are still in shock and devastated...
Cant believe my pink princess has gone, it doesnt feel like youve gone only that your in the room next door or upstairs at side of your dad..
The silliest of things set the tears rolling, was in a shop and saw a silly christmas hat you wore last year and the tears streamed, was in a coffee shop talking about you and the tears streamed, went to dentist last week and we were talking about collies in our lives and had two patients in tears.. but time is a great healer and the hurt will go.
You will always be a part of our family, and as Christmas approaches, you are involved in that, hope you like your Christmas present of a star named after you as you loved to sit in the garden and look at the stars twinkle...
Seems weird, Badger Buttons has started to come round and accept that his girl is no longer here and Lottie misses you more than we thought... our hearts are broken...
We tried everything last month, to save you, you were so brave with your operation, but the news came back you had aggressive breast cancer and only had weeks left to live... In fact you only had just over a day with us after that...
Your breathing wasnt right and you tummy was swollen, another tumour had appeared and you were saying your final good byes...
We took you to the vets and you went to Rainbow Bridge at 2.25am on the 19th October, your brothers and sisters were in the car barking wishing you well on your journey while we were with you, you gave us a last lick and kiss and we cuddled you and told you how much we loved you and that we would always love you and it was time to go to Rainbow Bridge and see James the Cat... and you fell asleep and you returned to god as as an angel...
We came across all your rosettes you won in dog shows and yes the tears rolled again but not sadness at the happy times we had in them rings, everything was about fun..
In just over the two years we had you raised 7k for uk rescues, lots of transport runs as you had a calming effect on other dogs, lots of nice walks and visited lots of places in the uk..
Everyone loved you, wherever you went people smiled... esp when your paws for some reason had a pink tinge at times...
Go run Rosie Buttons, our Bridge Princess, would give our right arm if we could just bring you back. I know you would be happy with us fostering again, giving another dog a chance like we gave you the chance and boy did you grab it and you loved life...
GOD GAVE US HIS ANGEL JUST FOR A SHORT TIME, BUT SHE WENT BACK TO GOD AS HE WANTED HIS ANGEL BACK FOR OTHER WORK.
Mum, Dad, Badger Buttons, Maddoch, Pudsey, Millie, Lottie, Caffery and all the other pets.
