At 1pm on 2nd October 2008 Rudy Bear sadly left for Rainbow Bridge. He had been unwell during the night and it was discovered that he has a mass in his chest and his liver was grossly enlarged which suggested a tumour. I had no alternative but to let him go. I was there when he passed and we brought him home. We laid him out on his blanket for Louie to see him and understand his friend had gone. We think he understood. He sniffed Rudy and then went quietly into his crate.
We laid Rudy to rest wrapped in his blanket amongst the bushes he loves to hide in.
Rudy Bear I miss you so much and my heart is truly broken. Just under 4 years was not long enough together. The tears flow freely and I hope with time the pain of losing you will subside and the fond memories take over. I love you.

Amyjo I am so sorry to hear of your sad loss, big to you all. It's very hard when one of our little ones leaves us for the bridge, sweetheart over time the tears will lessen as you are able to remember the times he made you laugh with his antics, how he brought sunshine into your life on a cold wet day. The antics he got up to with Louie, run free little one no more pain, thank you for the joy you brought your family
