Dear Eileen, My daughter Amy and I came to you in September 2005 to adopt Floyd, a 12 year old Cocker Spaniel. Unfortunately on Easter Monday he started having seizures and had to be put to sleep in the early hours of Tuesday morning. It was suspected that he had cancer of the spleen and had serious internal bleeding from that. Floyd gave us tremendous fun and loyalty over the 3 and a half years that he was with us. He was always full of beans even at 16! There was no containing his excitement whenever he knew he was coming with us in our motorhome! We will miss him a lot, partucularly my daughter. I have attached a photograph of him in the snow earlier this year. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to have such a wonderful pet! Yours sincerely, Neil and Amy Walker

I remember Floyd so very well and Neil and Amy collecting him. I did take a photo of them all by the river wall but it was on my old pc and will have to see if I can track it down.
Bless you Floyd for bringing so much happiness and Neil and Amy for seeing past his age and giving him a wonderful home.
