Name: Kipper Age: 10yrs Breed:JRT x Can I live with Children: older children Can I live with cats: tbc Can I live with other dogs: yes Fostered In: S .Wales Other Information:Kipper is a JRT X, 10 yrs old, neutered vax'd and chipped to FOA he is a healthy lad He originally belonged to a lady of 92 who sadly passed away, her son couldn't keep Kipper as he has dogs of his own so he contacted us for help. he came to FOA a short while ago and was rehomed to a lovely lady who had lost her JRT, but he was protective of her when out on lead and she couldn't hold him. Louise and Sue have assesed him on walks at the kennels and found no problems with him when walking him there. Around the house he is fine and a very happy loving boy, who loves his toys. he gets along with other dogs, he would be ok in a home with older children

Great little old man. Lovely to walk. Have not experienced any protective issues to date...he just enjoys being out and about and even had a really good run the other day...he was full of smiles! :-)

Kipper is a shy quiet little boy who is no trouble on his walks, will bark at passing strangers, but not nastily, and is easily distracted.
His eyesight isn't wonderful which makes him a bit nervous if approached suddenly.
Very food focused and will do anything for a treat, does not appear aggressive around food.
A pleasant little dog who is a pleasure to take out.

Took Kipper out on Saturday (04/06/11) with another dog (Tick) and they were lovely together. Even though Kipper is a bit older than his walking buddy for the day he kept up and enjoyed himself. He never wonders far and enjoys walking by your side more than anything. True gentleman. A wonderful dog who truely deserves a home.

We took Kipper out today and he was wonderful. The little boy is very low maintenance who doesn't ask for much in his life.It makes me sad that he has had to come into kennels at this stage in his life.He is such a lovely dog xx

As Maria says this little boy is a pleasure to take out, so easy , comes to call, although he seems a bit deaf.Really enjoyed his walk today and skipped along happily.

Took Kipper out today (11/06/11) and again such a gentle little man with a fab recall. I tried to give a few cuddles but he wasn't up for it initially....he did let me towards the end and enjoyed it I think...woohoo!! Made my day anyway...even if it didn't make his day having me bear-hugging him when he wanted to walk :-)
Still happy being out doing his own thing...even ran like the wind with the youngsters today after a ball...didn't get there in time though but enjoyed the chase.
I have a couple of photos but could someone tell me how to put them up please? I am clueless?!?! He looks like a little cow with his markings from a far :-)
He's adorable and still breaks my heart when I take him back...he never wants to go back in his cage :-(
