........to those very caring people on the forum who offered much needed support and help during my recent illness. Sorry I wasn’t always well enough to talk or respond when you made contact but I was touched by your messages of support. Deepest apologies to those who had the misfortune to be confronted by a very stressed ‘non animal minded’ daughter who tried her utmost to get you to temporarily foster 4 dogs in your own homes immediately ! Though we got through it and avoided the threatened ‘hospitalisation’, knowing that help was out there if need be eased the very worrying situation, and I’m extremely grateful to these wonderful people. A special thank you to someone who has to remain nameless because I know she is highly embarrassed by any public display of thanks, or recognition for all she does. Though she is a fellow volunteer, I also call her my honorary Mam, and she’s a proven genuine friend who is always there for me, so it was no surprise that her offers of help went over and above the call of duty. Yet it was knowing in full confidence that she was there for the dogs which was so meaningful, as their welfare was my main concern during this time. Not surprisingly, I know others on the Forum view her in the same light as me, so maybe some have guessed who I’m referring to, BUT I haven’t named her !!Also a special thanks to her daughter Nicky, who in her own words phoned regularly to ‘just check if you are still alive’. ;D Thank you for caring, especially about my beloved 4 legged housemates, you are such lovely people to know. xxx

Jude !!! I wasn't aware that you had been that ill at all, you told me that you had a cold a few weeks ago, but I presumed that you were over it.
I would have walked the dogs for you..... or whatever!!!
