Nothing to do with the rescue but wanted to mention this fantastic company. Each year their staff put on a very professional Pantomime in London and in Cardiff and they give hundreds of tickets away to schools and children's charities.
They gave 150 tickets to Valleys Kids, who i work for, and tonight we went to see Pincchio at the New Theater in Cardiff. They also paid for the coaches and gave the children sweets and drinks.
It was bedlam with all our kids taking over most of the circle. We had fab seats and we all had an amazing time. Many of the children we work with would never get to see a local live show never mind one in Cardiff if we did not take them so it was wonderful of Price Waterhouse to do this for them.
Brilliant performances, those accountants are something else.

Eileen, I agree these companies do wonderfull work to help so many charities, as you probably know a lot of them will sponsor a diiferent charity each year. I think it will be a good idea to contact the bigger companies, corporations to ask for sponsorship for FOA. We may be a little fish in a big pond but I know that all of us have such big hearts, with a common love of animals of all shape and size and are willing to help in every way we can to help all the little ones that need our help ,
If some of them already have designated charities for this year we could still contact them with a view to sponsorship for next year and contact them in December as a reminder for the coming year.
I'll be pleased to do this if this is ok with you.
Janine. xx

Its lovely to see that companies give back to the community especially when its the youth groups as they see the bigger picture and will be the fundraisers of tomorrow who will then want to give back themselves too. Janine I contacted a lot of the major companies some moths ago and response was good but sadly they tend to give more to registered charities or those which their employees are major suporters of. There are a few waiting on responses and forms to be sent back and a few have said to contact them again once charity status has been sorted so it could be a plan for the future .One larger company Im waiting on organising a meeting with; but given their busy schedules and preparation time needed to get everything together I've not been able to set a date as yet. Smaller local companies are a lot more willing to give to charities which are close to their hearts and home.
