Have arranged for the Valentines dog show and monthly auction to be included in the February edition of my local business directory.
I think they used to provide a leafleting service whereby the leaflets would be distributed with the directory. As the directory is deliverd to 6500 homes and bulk dropped to 400 hairdresses, restaurants, shops. etc I'm going to find out if they still provide this service and the costs etc as we could advertise and highlight our lovley dogs who are waiting urgently for their foster/forever homes.
Worth a try I think. x

So well done you are Angels to thos dogs..................... mud and all xxx I'd like to second that! It's very heartwarming to see you taking such good care of those beautiful dogs and giving them some very precious time to run around and have a break from kennel life. Are you actually at Cardiff University then? I worked in the library there many moons ago, when it was still called University College Cardiff (well before you were born I'm sure!) I have so many fond memories of the place, especially the summer when we moved all the books into the "new" Arts and Social Studies Library from the old building in Cathays Park. I'm probably the only person in the world who has lugged the British Museum catalogue - several hundred volumes of it - from shelf to shelf ..... 3 times (because the wall wasn't strong enough to hold the shelves the first time, so we had to take them all off and then back again! Happy days......good luck in your new foster home, Tyson. With friends like this to help you, the world should be a much happier place now

Hi Marie-Anne.
Haha. No I'm not in Cardiff Uni,that's my daughter Emily. I'm the oldie in the last pic!!!!! LOL
Nice that you have happy memories of Cardiff, even if your memories are of lugging books from shelf to shelf!!
Yes, the kennel dogs love a break from the kennels and it's nice when they get a foster/forever home .

Oh dear today at kennels was a funny start as I drove up the drive I saw a strange young man with betty I was all worried then another one with Heston, when I parked up Sue asked me who they were I said I had no idea but it turns out that the are young adults with special needs which is lovely Betty wasn’t pulling at all. Any how we continued about our business and collected Maxasquillion and Bosley Off we go with Trinity in tow all three off lead till we needed to cross the stream well what can I say Maxasquillion just stood there barking he wasn’t getting his feet wet poor lad was frightened so I went back to collect him then he was fine… They met a Springer Spaniel and all made Friends. They all continued to play non stop for well over a hour they all tired a little bit Trinity tired to tire them out by making them chase her ..
Sue and I them took Betty Frankie and Trinity we accidentally dropped Betty’s lead and discovered she had a recall so we let her run and boy did she run it was so nice to see her run free it made Sue and I realise why its so important to walk these dogs..
Frankie herself is really well and enjoying meeting other dogs she so wanted to run free with Betty but with her sore foot I didn’t think it was wise to let her go she is so easy to walk no pulling sits when you want her to she is a dream to walk…
Heston was tired from his earlier walk
I would like to add that I couldn’t for love nor money today climb the five bar gate Grrrr!!!! Sue thought this was hilarious and nearly wet herself… They all had some Treats and they LOVE DENTA STICKS!!!!! They also had a few toys Thank you Kay and Ellie they love them
I am sure Sue will add Pictures when she has time..
We both get so much joy from seeing them so happy
