We adopted Mr Woofy in Jan 06. He had been on DP and his thread started with "Overweight Chinese Crested Powder Puff), not knowing what a PP was I had to look and then I was following his thread, he had been taken to be PTS because his eldery woner couldn't groom him anymore. There was acouple interested in him but they went on honeymoon so I waited and waited and then posted to ask if the couple had picked him up, No Eileen posted he is waiting for you.
We had some money put away to buy some tiles for the floor and needless to say it was spent on an overweight chinese crested powder puff
Mr Woofy is a law unto himself he doesn't like being cuddles and will only come to you when he feels like it, he hates being groomed but I make him put up with me doing every day or else he gets little knots. Woofy smiles at you and that used to tickle Stuarts dad, when he was still alive we took Mr Woofy to see him at least twice a week. When he is hungry he will bark at you and when you go to get the food and bowls he shoves you in the back of your knee with his nose (as if he is herding)
In his bed he has a white shaggy type rug and sometimes you cant tell if he is in the bed or not, we also used to have thos white shaggy cushions but I had to get rid of them cos Woofy did get sat on a few times.
Overall he is a grumpy old man that everybody loves just for his ways. I call him my Little man and if I am very lucky he will jump on my knee for a cuddle.
I was going to ask Mr Woofy what he thought of Bella and Bonnie coming here but to be honest he is not bothered as long as no one pinches his bed.
Hopefull Chris will post the pictures of my Little man for me. The first one is the day after we got him and the last one was taken this evening. I will try and get one of him smiling and one of him in his bed. Woofy was wel worth the drive to Eileens who if I remember correctly had a flood that day and had to bring Mr Woofy to friends a couple of doors away.
We love Mr Woofy to bits and although he is not a dog you can cuddle and kiss all day he has got a cracking personality and a lovely smile which makes Mr Woofy my Little Man
