Brock is one of the cute samoyed x collie pups, he is being fostered in the Midlands.
He is very intelligent and confident, he loves other dogs and children.
He is learning really quickly but he needs a family of his own.
Ideally one with another dog, experience of collies and the energy they have. He would also be suited to a home where there are children over 5yrs old as he will be a powerful boy when he is bigger due to Samoyed in his genes combined with the Collie enthusiasm.
Please feel free to PM me if you want to know more about this darling boy.
If you would like to Adopt him please fill out a pre adoption form.
Brock looks like a black and white Samoyed pup with a cute short muzzle, little button ears , strong short legs and a barrel like body. He also has the Samoyed type coat, thick and fluffy.
He sleep through the night and loved to hide in a "den" under chairs, tables and behind sofas etc.
He has the intellect of a Collie and he is learning more each day.
He knows sit, in your bed, off & down, paw (nearly) and of course no
He will not accept a crate at all but he doesn't really need to be crated as he can be left for short periods out free in the house without causing mayhem, he just plays with his toys and goes to sleep.
He is paper trained at the moment but showing great egarness to go out with the big dogs so it shouldn't be too hard to train him to toilet outside when he has had all his jabs (3 weeks time).
He is fine with small fur babies and cats, not too boundcy or bitey with children and good with other dogs of all ages and sizes but can push his luck with pulling on their tails ears etc.
If you offer brock a new home you will also be offering Horrice the caterpillar a home too as Horrice is his most favourate toy in the whole wide world ;D and he cuddles horrice when he goes to sleep if Nanny Tia doesn't fancy cuddles that is. (after a while he will likely get up and wander into his den for a proper sleep)
He really would like to have a brother or sister doglet to play with and children over 5 to run about with and play ball with would be a bonus too but he would also do great at agility or such when he is older and would need to attend basic puppy classes at least.
I can't tell you the fun I have had with this lad over Christmas but he now needs a family of his own before he gets too attached and settled here. He will give the right home a lot of happy times and lots of love but he needs to have that special person who he can bond with and how can bring him on with love and training and you will be rewarded with a big chunky ball of loyalty.
Take Care
