Name: Kevin
Age: 3 to 4 years old
Breed: Cavalier King Charles Spaniel
Can I live with Children: Yes, quiet sensible ones
Can I live with cats: Not tested
Can I live with other dogs: Yes, a must
Fostered In: Rhondda
Kevin is a 3/4-year old Cavalier King Charles ex-breeding dog, who is being fostered in RCT, South Wales. He has had a rotten start in life but is turning into quite the little heartbreaker. He is a little chap who absolutely adores cuddles and fuss but is learning how to be a pet and how wonderful playing is.
People – Kevin loves people but may shy away when he first meets them, which is normal bearing in mind his background. After a few minutes he will happily queue up for fuss and, before you know it, he is asleep on your lap.
Dogs – Kevin is starting to be playful so a friendly, active resident dog is a must in order to develop his potential
Cats – Not tested with cats.
In the home – Kevin is progressing well with his house training and will actively tell you when he wants to go outside. He is not destructive at all but time without his humans should be kept to a minimum as he does fret. He is a slow eater. He sleeps with foster parents at the moment. Sudden loud noises may make him jump.
Out and about – Walks are new to Kevin but he is starting well. It is a bit “wide open” for him at the minute but once he gets going he is all tail wags and nose to the ground.
Type of home – Kevin needs a home where he has time and encouragement on his road to being a family pet. He needs reassurance and at least one doggie companion to help him along. He deserves a loving family who understand his needs and are willing to help this little soul to reach his full potential.
Kevin is neutered, chipped, vaccinated and up to date with his flea and worming treatment. Potential adopters will be expected to travel to meet him in his foster home in South Wales
