Name: Sasha
Age: 2 years old
Breed: Cavalier King Charles X
Can I live with Children: Yes, older, quieter children
Can I live with cats: Not tested
Can I live with other dogs: Yes, a must
Fostered In: Rhondda South Wales
Sasha is a 2-year old Cavalier King Charles cross who is being fostered in RCT, South Wales. She is a sensitive little girl who, up until this point, has only had her mother for company. She is now starting to develop her own personality and is a sweet natured little girl. Sasha is a blank canvas and deserves a loving family home who will treat her like the special girl she is.
People – Sasha can be slightly nervous with new people but once she sees that they are not a threat she soon warms to them. She loves her ears being scratched and her tummy tickling and is relaxed in the company of humans she knows.
Dogs – Sasha needs the company of an older dog to teach her the ropes, hopefully a friend of a similar size. She has shared her foster home with 6 other dogs and she fitted in very well.
Cats – Sasha has not been tested with cats
In the home – Sasha’s housetraining is a work in progress. She prefers to go outside but will use a training pad if the door is closed. She is not bothered by household noises and will happily curl up in any small space for a sleep. Sasha has started to show signs of play although she is not 100% sure what to do. She is happy to be left for short periods but prefers to be with her humans.
Out and about – Sasha likes her walks and loves to be out and about. Sasha is not aggressive but care should be taken not to frighten her when introducing her to new people, sounds and animals. Sasha needs further training before being allowed off-lead.
Type of home – Sasha needs a home with plenty of quiet places but access to lots of activity and stimulation. An active home would be fantastic with at least one other sensible dog. Older, sensible children would be ok for Sasha. She will not be rehomed to full time workers and would prefer her family to be at home for most of the day.
Sasha is neutered, chipped, vaccinated and up to date with her flea and worming treatment. Potential adopters will be expected to travel to meet her in her foster home in Rhondda, South Wales.
