Can I live with cats: Not tested
Can I live with other dogs: Yes, a must
Fostered In: Rhondda
Charlie is a 2-year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who is being fostered in RCT, South Wales. He is the cutest little chap with a huge personality. Having started his life as a stud and coming to us undernourished, he is starting to put on some weight and his personality is blossoming every day. He is extremely inquisitive sticking his nose into everything and enjoying all the new experiences of being a family pet. He is never more than a foot away from his foster dad and is a typical puppy full of bounce and mischief.
People – Charlie loves people of all sizes and would respond well to children who are dog savvy.
Dogs – Other dogs are a must to help Charlie to learn how to be a rounded family pet.
Cats – Not tested
In the home – Charles house training is a work in progress. On the whole he is improving in this area but his brain goes into neutral when he gets excited and he forgets himself. He prefers a human lap to a dog bed. Meal times are a frenzy with Charlie. He loves his grub, and if you are not careful, everyone else’s as well. Charlie still needs to improve his manners as he does not respect personal space, typical of most puppies. He likes to sleep with his foster mum and dad and is a wriggler until, after 8 hours when he finally gets comfortable and it’s time to get up.
Out and about – Charlie is starting to walk well on his lead and will happily interact with other dogs and people. Charlie is prone to a bit of car sickness.
Type of home – Charlie needs an active home with lots of new experiences. Dog savvy children would be a good idea and another sensible dog is a must. He would need his humans to be home for the majority of the day and have plenty of patience with him as he adjusts to his new life.
Charlie is neutered, chipped, vaccinated and up to date with his flea and worming treatment. Potential adopters will be expected to travel to meet him in his foster home in Rhondda, South Wales.
