Well things move quickly with our Betty Boo. She is now off her lead when walking in safe places and her recall to whistle is A M A Z I N G. She meets and mixes with a large variety of dogs both off and on the lead. Today we walked with 2 labradors, 1 flatcoated retriever, a collie/retriever cross and a border collie. She mixed and ran with all of them without fear. She doesn't 'play' with other dogs but does enjoy running with them. She runs like the wind, so lovely to see. Although running round she is constantly keeping her eye on me. A couple of toots on the whistle and she comes flying back to me. She rolled in fox or badger poo, not a pleasant smell but she's easy to wash at home!!

Betty Boo updates:
1. She can swim, she didn't mean to and I don't think she will be volunteering. She copied Linney, when Linney jumped into the pond - it must have been a huge shock when her feet didn't touch the floor. But she didn't panic, she swam to the side, had a shake and didn't try it a second time!
2. I don't think she sheds fur. With such a soft coat I expected fur everywhere, but no I haven't seen any. Great news, but it will mean she will need a trim. So far her coat hasn't shown signs of tangling, the mud washes out easily - really easy to manage in this awful weather.
3. Her love of chewing has been limited to bits of cardboard (she just loves the empty tube from the loo roll) and her toys. Her favourite toys are a little knitted mouse and an old Father Christmas. She would like to rip my newspaper up, but she has taken notice of the 'no', and so far my papers have remained whole. She shows no signs of chewing furniture, carpets, bed etc - which I am very pleased about. She did run off with the loo roll yesterday, made me smile.
4. She likes the majority of people, but is unhappy with people who are dressed in a parka with the fury hood up - not sure what bad experience she has had. She will bark at them - we are working on this by approaching everyone with a parka and asking them to say hello to her. She is becoming less frightened and actually walked past someone with a parka hood today without reacting. Little else bothers her.
5. We introduced her to my friends cats yesterday (they are dog savvy cats). No reaction from her. She was on her lead, but she just looked at the cats.
6 She wasn't worried about the fireworks on New Years Eve - we don't get many here but the few she heard she ignored.
She is such a character.

Good morning, could this little lady be any cuter?!? She seems to be thriving each day which is just wonderful. I have submitted a rehoming application in relation to her quite a while ago but nobody has been in touch. Could someone please give me a call to discuss? Thank you so much xx
