Handsome Alert!! Check out those freckles! My name is Bruce and I love life. Despite my rotten start in life, I love everyone and everything. I love my humans, my foster brothers and sisters, cuddling, kissing and toys. From the moment I wake up in the morning I am happy to be alive and will let everyone know it.
People – Bruce loves all people. Although he is nosy and inquisitive, he is very gentle. He loves company and cuddles and comes to you for a hug when he’s upset. He very rarely sleeps on a dog bed preferring to cuddle on a lap.
Dogs – Bruce is very sociable with other dogs and currently lives with a four other Cavaliers and a Bichon. He has tried to play with the oldies but they don’t seem to play much so he spends hours playing with the younger ones. Bruce is not aggressive at all.
Cats – Bruce has not been in close proximity with cats but ignores them when out on walks.
In the home – Bruce can be left for short periods and is not destructive. As long as he has toys and his beloved deer antler, he will occupy himself. He loves to sit in the window and watch the world go by. He has no interest in trying to escape from the garden. Bruce eats like a gentleman. He is on dry food (three meals a day as he is a little skinny) and eats this one biscuit at a time. Bruce is happy to meet new people and is not wary at all. Bruce sleeps where he wants and, although not a snorer, he can spread out very well!! Bruce is house trained.
Out and about – Bruce is great on a lead and only pulls slightly. His recall is pretty good and he is not bothered by the noises of everyday life such as cars, horns etc.
Type of home – Bruce needs a home where he will get plenty of attention and regular walks. Bruce has started simple training such as No, Sit, Paw etc and is will ing to learn. He enjoys the challenge. Bruce is a well rounded, happy dog, eager to please and ready for adventures with his new family.
Bruce is neutered, chipped, vaccinated and up to date with his flea and worming treatment. Potential adopters will be expected to travel to meet him in his foster home in RCT, South Wales.
