Name: Fizz
Age: 6 years
Breed: Bichon Frise
Can I live with Children:Yes
Can I live with cats: Unknown
Can I live with other dogs: Yes, a must
Fostered In: Cardiff
Fizz is an exbreeding dog and must be rehomed with at least one calm neutered dog to give her confidence.
People – Fizz loves people she knows and trusts. She’s a little hesitant with strangers but soon comes round. She can’t get enough of being fussed. She is great when it comes to having a bath and being groomed. She’s well behaved and happy to let you get on with it. She’s fine with children she knows as long as they’re not too noisy but she may be nervous of strange children at first.
Dogs – Fizz is excellent with other dogs. She doesn’t show much interest in toys but is watching the other dogs so this may come in time. She will share her food and treats nicely.
Cats – We don’t know how Fizz would react to a cat.
In the home – Fizz loves sleeping, rolling around in her bed and chasing the birds in the garden with the other dogs. She’s a lovely little character who gets so excited when you come home or wake up in the morning. She is very attached to her foster mum and sleeps in a dog bed in her room. She’s fine to be left although if you’re in the house she wants to be with you, especially at night. A Fizz proof bin is needed as she does like to have a nose in there. House training is a work in progress.
Out and about – Fizz is learning to walk on a lead with help from the other dogs in her foster home. She is fine in the car as long as she’s sitting on someone’s lap or next to them.
Type of home – Fizz has grown wonderfully in confidence since she’s been in her foster home. With a dedicated and patient new owner and a kind resident dog she will continue to blossom into the wonderful little girl she’s learning to be.
Fizz is neutered, chipped, vaccinated and up to date with her flea and worming treatment. Potential adopters will be expected to travel to meet her in her foster home in Cardiff, South Wales.
