Other Information
Meet sweet little Cupcake, a 5 year old Jack Russell female being fostered in RCT, South Wales, who her foster dad describes as a “delight”! Cupcake loves her foster mum coming home and gets very excited. She air paws you and her little tail wags as though it is about to drop off. She then goes bounding around the furniture.
Cupcake is a clever little girl - she goes outside for a wee when asked and sleeps curled up tight next to her foster dad in bed. When out on the lead for a walk her behaviour is impeccable. She loves her squeaky toys - she does like to remove the squeakers from toys but loses interest once she has “killed” them.
We don’t think that Cupcake has spent much time with other dogs but she has certainly come a long way. There have been no issues with her over the last 4 weeks whilst she has been in foster. She actively seeks out other dogs to cuddle up to and is becoming more playful by the day. She certainly is social with her foster family’s dogs and is very much part of the pack. She has not been tested with cats or small furry animals.
There is no specific training that Cupcake needs. She has no real problems in the home - she isn’t keen on the vacuum cleaner and doesn’t like the microwave. When it “pings” it is guaranteed to start her barking. Cupcake is fine to be left for a few hours and has not been crate tested as she doesn’t need it. Apart from destroying her squeaky toys she isn’t at all destructive. She’s a “home girl” - showing no desire to scale the garden fencing.
Cupcake travels well and is very calm at the vets. She loves a tickle and a scratch - very much likes to be touched. She’s a sociable girl who has met adults of most ages but hasn’t met any young children. She’s fully house trained.
Cupcake is looking for a home without babies or young children. She is a super little dog who deserves a loving home of her own.
Cupcake is vaccinated, neutered and microchipped. She is up to date with her flea and worming treatment. She is currently being fostered in South Wales and her adopter would be expected to visit her in her foster home.
