Yes, of course, the doors are shut but how could we refuse to take a little abandoned pregnant cat. She had been abandoned by her owners when they moved away and left to try and survive on her own. An elderly gentleman was feeding her but contacted us when he realised she was having babies. Maia, as we named her, moved to a foster home and has kept everyone on their toes as she had a number of false alarms. When she did go in to labour she couldn't manage and had to have an emergency c section. Mum and her five wonderful babies are doing well but sadly we have also incurred a bill for £659.23 at her foster mums vets. If you could help us with just a couple of pounds towards this we would be so grateful. Maia is of course oblivious to all the drama but how different the result would have been if she had not been taken in to rescue and left to what would have been a painful death of her and her little ones Our Paypal is foawales@aol.com.
