Moved to Linda (Blackbomber) last week and are doing very well in foster. They will need to be rehomed together as they are a bonded pair.

Poor old Sam (lab X) thinks its double trouble but they have ignored him. Tia on the other hand is fair game for chasing and she loves it. How can 2 shihtzus keep up with a Saluki X.

These 2 little ladies have settled in very well.Tootsie is the quiet one but still loves to play and enjoys a tuggy or chasing sharaz. She eats well and loves a treat that she takes gently.Clean indoors but has to be coaxed out in the rain.Tootsie has to be encouraged on walks as she can be quite lazy.Loves all dogs but ignores them in the house. Tootsie is fine in the crate, grooming ok but a bit twitchy on her mouth and feet, she doesn't like a bath and tries to climb out. She loves being stroked but has snarled at a couple of people after being fussed,I cannot understand why as she loves attention. She has not shown any malice to me or hubby. OK. at the vets and travels well in the car.Food is Tootsies main love and she knows when you open a kitchen cupboard what is coming out, not found anything yet that she doesn't like.

Now for Sharaz! She is the outspoken one and first in line for everything. She has had cuddles from lots of people and loved every minute. Fine with all dogs and runs around chasing my Saluki X and stops when she stops, no nipping. Clean indoors and goes in the garden regularly for a stroll. Sharaz eats well but is a bit fussy with treats etc., no food aggression and is very gentle taking treats. She hates the crate and will bark and scratch the base in it. We put them both in the crate at night and after a few barks and scratches she does settle all night. They are both happier in the lounge on the sofa as they are in the evening. If they are left in the kitchen Sharaz will bark and scrape or chew the door but she will settle after a little while.Apart from the door she hasn't chewed anything else. Fine in the bath and grooming but twitchy on her feet and mouth. When out for a walk Sharaz will stroll in front and loves being out. She does love human company and needs reassurance that you are coming back to her if she is left. Sharaz has the pink collar, the bottom pic.slightly bigger than Tootsie.
P.S. I was a bit worried about fostering two small ones with my large two but they all get on really well.

So glad to hear that they are doing well after being moved to your care, Linda. I'm still sorry I couldn't be a good foster parent to them but I think you are doing a better job than I ever could!
I agree Tootsie is not keen on walks although I was told that she may have weak back legs from not being walked by her previous owner, rather than being lazy. Not sure which is the right explanation but just thought I'd let you know.

It was painful sleeping on the kitchen floor last night! Will I never learn. I am braking the golden rule of no dogs in the bedroom, the only way to get a good nights sleep. The little ......! soon settled curled up beside me on my blanket and slept all night, good job hubby didn't come downstairs.

I let them sleep outside my bedroom on the landing, and they settled all right there, so you can try that if you don't want them on your bed. Although it does require you to keep your bedroom door open as they want to see you at all times!
