;D Morning everyone! Roxy came home with us yesterday and was very good on the return journey despite the fact we got stuck in traffic for hours! I felt dreadful leaving a tearful Kat behind but at the same time very positive and looking forward to a new future with this wonderful pup in our lives. Roxy and Saxon get on like a house on fire! they have been tearing around the garden in the snow this morning like a couple of loons! I am already feeling tired!!! They decided it would be a good idea to have a tussle at 3am this morning, and again at 5am, this resulted in me ending up sleeping on the sofa to make sure they stayed in bed!!! Toby left for work this morning with a big 'good luck, rather you than me today'smile. But he was very good last night, getting up to give her a cuddle when she jumped on us in bed at around 2am, does this pooch ever sleep??? She really is adorable and Kat has done a wonderful job with her and I'm sure will go on to do the same with many more. No photo's as yet, this is mainly due to the fact that they have not kept still long enough and my camera is not quick enough!!! I will post some just as soon as they slow down a bit! Jayne xx

Oh Jayne, it's lovely to read an update on how you are all getting on, it really is. I am sorry you saw a few tears, I didn't want to cry I really really didn't but it was just a mixture of happiness at all the love your girl has given me while she was here and saying goodbye. Anyway, of course I miss her but just knowing she is going to fill you and Toby with so much joy really makes me smile and knowing the fun she's having with Saxon, well I wouldn't swap that for the world!!!! She will sleep I promise, she's just a happy bunny that's very excited ;D it's lovely that she's giving you cuddles already it shows that she is settling in very fast! I bet she can't believe her luck, she loved it here but I bet she can't believe her new home!!!! Roxy heaven, Apple trees! Saxon! Massive garden and you two lovely people! You are perfect for her and I am over the moon and so happy for Roxy, I truly truly am. This has been a lovely experience for me, one I shall cherish with a perfect ending. Roxy is settling in well and loving running round like a nutter with Saxon! Toby and I finally had our first full night's sleep since she came last night!, We are both walking around like zombies but would'nt change it for the world! She is cute, cuddly and also has a seriously cheeky and mischeivous side to her, she has already pinched some chicken off the kitchen worktop, destroyed most of saxons's toys and this morning presented me with a spoon she had liberated from the kitchen! She is still very wary of strange people and dogs and tends to growl a lot and bark when people come round, but she is improving a little day by day. When I took her to her first dog training session on Saturday she was shaking like a leaf at the sight of 15 other people and dogs but during their off lead runabout session she hesitantly joined in and then eventually teamed up with harvey, a lab pup, and neither me or harvey's mum could get them to come back!!!! A little bit of gradual exposure to everything seems to be the way to go and she is getting there! I will email some pictures of our walk in the woods on Sunday to Kat and I'm sure she will post them for me! Jayne.

Hey Jayne, how lovely to read an update I promise she will continue to grow in confidence, when she had truly settled in here she became the most confident little madam ever!!!! It's all fairly new to her still but it sounds as if she is developing quicker than she did here, remember she's only been there a week!!!! Can you believe it? It feels like ages ago when you collected your girl. When she had truly settled in here she began to swamp visitors with cuddles and kisses. Have a read through my thread again, it will show you how wary she was of things at first and how much she changed. I am sooooooooo glad you are getting sleep now, it's almost like she's too busy for sleep and just wants to have fun fun FUN She'll continue with her routine now she's started to settle now, she used to sleep a nice eight hours once she'd settled and on a weekend a bit longer. Jayne, it sounds as if she is really happy, you sound happy too.....she really snuggles into your heart doesn't she I'm so happy for all of you, I really am and we couldn't have asked for a better ending for us and a better beginning for lil Roxy Foxy Socks....... ps Were those treats suitable for Saxon? Just wondered how you got on with them, give me a shout if you want anymore and I'll send some to you ;D Will put your pictures up as soon as I can load them, they are big atm so will take me a little while to get them up, I can't wait to see them!

Hey Jayne, I promise I will post the pictures, I need to resize them first so it will take me a little while, they were too big to open so kept making my computer freeze up, I have a new computer now so will be able to sort them soon!!!!
