Please meet my latest little fosterling who was called Mistle but now known as Lucy. She is 10 months young and one of the 19 doglets rescued from a home a few weeks ago. Lucy is tiny, only about 10" to 12" at the shoulder and has lovely wiry hair. Lucy is quite timid in the home but is gaining lots of confidence from my Gyppy dog who has managed to get Lucy joining in sorting the toy box out. Lucy had been kept crated for long periods of time in her former home and at the moment she retreats to my crate if she's anxious/worried about something and she happily settles in it if I nip out and sleeps in it at night. She has been used to toileting in her crate so I have started her back to basics with house training, putting her out in the garden every two hours and after meals and on waking. Lucy is a dream on the lead and enjoys her walks with my dogs exploring the woods, she usually walks next to my big dog Gyp or walks underneath her ;D Lucy will do best with someone around for most of the day to continue with her house training. She is picking up some basic commands....Wait, Down, Leave, said with a hand signal which she is now watching for. Lucy is great with my cat Archie, apart from when she was trying a "play bow" with him earlier, I don't think Archie [image] was very impressed and spat at Lucy, she just turned away and left him. Lucy has seen my pet birds and shows no interest, on walks we have seen squirrels, muntjac deer, horses and sheep and Lucy didn't try pulling on the lead towards them, just sat watching. Anyway, here's some [image] of Lucy Locket, who would fit in your pocket. Jeanx x
