Big thank you to Sue Emlyn-Jones who took in 7 kittens that we managed to rescue and that are now in Cats Protection Legue care. Sue fosters for CP and is looking after these little ones for us. Unfortunately only 5 of the 7 have survived. The remaining kittens had two visits to the vets on Saturday and Monday, and were put on antibiotics Monday. They have now gone on from strength to strength and have doubled their weight from a week ago. The are beginning to play well in a larger contained pen although still small, she believes they are roughly 3 1/2-4 weeks old. They will be going into the CP centre when they are 8/9 weeks old for their first jab and will then hopefully be put up for homing. Watch this space

Just to let you know we had our Open Day yesterday – and I managed to have a few minutes with the kittens - They are looking really well and growing rapidly – and I understand that they will be having their first jabs in the coming week – and afterwards be then able to move onto the homing wing - I will try and keep you updated as to how soon they are homed - Have had 2 new babies for the past 4 weeks – they were 2 days old when found – so been quite a busy few weeks All the best – hope to see you at Fonmon – I will be there on Tuesday setting up but only from about 5pm on Weds to help with the take down. Sue (EJ)
