Gabby...Now called Willow, she has settled well in her forever home and is so well loved. I can't believe how much she has grown and her new hairdo is great...Love the fringe. Hope this works...copy of letter from her mummy and then pics. Dear Jean Thought you might like to see how the very beautiful Gabby (now answering to her new name Willow) is getting along since we made the tough decision to take her home! (Only joking, it was love at first sight!) She is growing very quickly and is a wonderful and confident little lady who has very quickly won the hearts of every one she meets. She has settled in very well in her forever home. She sleeps through the night and is pretty well fully house trained. She just needs to learn now that she can go to the toilet on walks not just in the garden. She's got nearly all her milk teeth and is chewing her toys, her humans and if she can get hold of it Thomas the elderly tom cat's tail. She went to the vet the day after we got her and was chipped and he checked her again today and said she's really healthy and growing well. We had to leave her with my friend when we went off on holiday and she had a great time bossing around her new friend, Jasper the lurcher. Luckily he is a very patient chap who even let her get away with swinging off his ears to get his attention! She spent her first day at work with Phil today making friends with the greyhound and black lab who live there. Had a great time investigating every room and digging up bones in the garden. Thank you so much for taking care of Willow for us while you were fostering her, you did a great job, she's got such a lovely nature and is very well house trained. Please send my thanks to the rest of the ladies who were involved in us adopting Willow, she has completed my family again after losing my old Lhasa, Benji. She has so may of his ways its lovely. Thanks again and we will send you some more photos when we can get her to stand still long enough!

Had another update on Willow (was called Gabby) from her mummy....I emailed her earlier to let her know about the photo competition....here is her reply.................... ............................................................................................. Hi Jean
Thanks for the message. I found her photo on the website, she is still that cute, just twice the size and hairier. She is booked for her first hair cut in November, she needs it,we are starting to loose her eyes in all the fluff and I would not dare to get that close to her eyes with scissors. She's a very confident little lady, far more so than Benji my previous Lhasa, but then I think she had a better start in life from the point that she got to you onwards. She sat in on her first dog training class on Wednesday and she starts her puppy classes in October. I think she will be the star pupil!! She charms everyone she meets, even hardened dog types like the vet and Jane the dog trainer admit she's just made to be cuddled!!
Hope you and your family are well, did Huggy get a home? ......................................................................................... I'm so proud of Willow, its lovely to know how foster's are doing and that they are being good little puplets for there new humans [image]
Huggy was another Llasa I had on foster after Willow/Gabby went, Huggy is now in a wonderful happy home as well. Jean xx
edit...coz I keep pressing wrong things on me new laptop..Grrr..going back to using a mouse tomorrow [

Nice update today on one of my foster babies [image] Little Willow (was called Gabby) the Llasa Apso. I have copied part of the email..bit hard to read as its been scrambled a bit ??
From Willow's mummy.....
Hi JeanJust thought I would let you have quick update little Willow. She had her first haircut on Thursday and now you can see her eyes she is even more beautiful! Her fringe had got so long it was be low her chin and had to be put up in a bobble which she did not approve of at all!She is going to puppy classes once a week now and is one of the star pupils, does come, sit, down and stay. Though I will admit she only does that in front of her teacher, when she gets home her hearing is not so good it seems!Had her hernia repaired and her ladies op yester day so feeling a bit sorry for herself today.Have never seen two such tiny wounds and no visible stitches so I'm sure she will heal in no time. The vet said she is the prettiest puppy and the biggest baby they have as a patient.Spent the whole day in the vets crying because she was scared and howled the place down when they took her drip out and that was before they had even started!! She should be on the stage I think!!Once she is feeling a bit less sore I will take some current piccies for you, she's looking rather to sad for photos at the moment. She is still quite small, half the size of Benji but twice the attitude!! regards Harris and family
This is what makes fostering soooo good and worthwhile. I will post Willow's new pics soon as I get them.
Jeanxx
