We have had the results back from the Royal Vet School in Bristol.
Myfanwy's right kidney needs to be removed altogether. It does not function as it should and could cause problems with recurrent kidney infections if left.
The left one looks as if it is ok but to be sure they would like to insert a camera and have a look around to check. If things are not ok with her left kidney she could remain incontinent so there are no guarantees that this will work. In addition her bladder is very tiny and also sited far up in her pelvis.
They want to run various preliminary urine tests and put her on antibiotics for 3 weeks prior to surgery. Our vets have suggested that this is done with them if Bristol agrees with the kidney removal and cystoscopy carried out in Bristol.
Cost wise we are looking at about £2,000. The money raised by the Take That raffle has paid for the 1st lot of tests she had done with a little left over.
We will therefore need to raise this in the next 3 weeks plus we are still waiting to hear about surgery for Buster and Chloe is also being referred to Bristol for further tests and possible surgery.
I think Myfanwy deserves the chance of whatever can be done for her. The kidney must be removed for her future wellbeing and if they can repair any problems with the other one and she no longer leaks then that would be great and a huge bonus.

What about rob a a bank. lol
Have asked if we can do a couple of mini auctions on DP that will bring in a bit and Louisebt has offered to do those.
Jan's husband Phil is climbing the 3 Welsh Peaks on July 9th with a team from the Royal Mint so that will help. We have a dog show on July 9th at Cwmclydach fete which will also bring some money in and a couple of other local things.
If anyone has any ideas please don't be shy. Every single pound will help.

Have we tried the following fund raising ideas: www.reclaim-it.com/information_for_charities.htmThe above company will work with us on recycling old phones and printer cartridges, people can send directly to them and the money will come to FOTA. or you could put boxes in the shops for people to drop off. www.gotgoldgetcash.co.uk/Old gold for cash, probably wouldn’t get allot here as it goes on weight. Just some ideas.
