Breed: Yorkshire Terrier
Can I live with Children:Yes
Can I live with cats: Young enough to learn
Can I live with other dogs: Yes
Fostered In: RCT, South Wales
Tiana is a 4-month old Yorkshire Terrier puppy who is being fostered in RCT, South Wales.
People - Tiana adores people and is full of curiosity as all puppies should be. She has a constantly waggy tail and is happy with humans young and old, although children will have to be aware that puppy nips are envitable when play gets exciting.
Dogs – Tiana would happily be rehomed with another small-breed dog. As she is still a puppy training and socialisation is ongoing.
Cats – Tiana is young enough to learn how to behave around cats, although she has currently not been cat tested.
In the home – As with all youngsters, Tiana will need her humans to be home for most of the day so she can be housetrained and socialised and learn how much fun it can be living a normal life. She may chew things and will no doubt have toileting accidents so her new family will have to be prepared for this.
Out and about – Once Tiana has had all of her vaccinations she will need ongoing training and socialisation as most of her experiences will be new ones. Car travel, lead walking, meeting other people and dogs will all need to be worked on in her new home.
Type of home – NO FULL TIME WORKERS. A committed family home where children are careful around Tiana, due to her small size. She will have ongoing grooming requirements as she grows and will need regular walks and training. Learning how to play, learning about housetraining and even puppy classes! She will happily live with another dog.
Tiana will be microchipped, up to date with her flea and worming treatment and vaccinated upon rehoming. Neutering will be the responsibility of the adopter when Tiana reaches 6 months old and follow up checks will be done to ensure this has been carried out. Potential adopters will be expected to travel to meet her in her foster home in RCT, South Wales.
