Jasmine stayed the night with me last night as her foster day was going out for the evening and didn't want to leave heralone. She is looking wonderful, weighs over 22 kilos which is over twice her weight when she was found. She is a delightful girl who is so affectionate and is great with the other dogs.

Name:Jasmine Age: 5 years old Breed:Labrador Can I live with Children:Yes Can I live with cats: yes Can I live with other dogs:Yes Fostered In: Bracknell, BerkshireOther InformationMeet Jasmine the 5year old Labrador. Jasmine didn’t have a very good start before she came into Friends of the Animals RCT, she was found as a stray by one of our supporters and came into us very malnourished and has also had to have her tail amputated as it had been cut with some of the bone still exposed. Obviously we couldn’t do this until she had put some weight on before we could operate so she had a very stressful time for the first few weeks. She managed to spend Christmas in a foster home instead of kennels and is now looking happy and healthy and ready for the rest of her life to start in her forever home. Jasmine is great with other dogs and is very gentle in her interaction with humans. She will require a garden with high fencing as she still may have some wanderlust from being a stray, although with time this will become less and less. Although she has now put on weight our vet has advised us that she now needs to get fit and turn some of the weight into muscle so she would like a home where she could have regular exercise to help with this. Jasmine loves to have the children around, especially with food!!! She has shown no interest in the cats or the Bunny Rabbit either. She would not be happy in a home with people who work full time and enjoys the hustle and bustle of a busy household. She has never been left on her own so any family will need to work with her on this by leaving her for short periods to go shopping, dentist, doctor etc until she was used to being left for longer periods. Can you offer her the family she never had? Full details of Jasmines story can be found here: foa-rct.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=extra&action=display&thread=13861Jasmine is neutered, fully vaccinated and micro chipped. She is currently being fostered in Bracknell, Berkshire and any potential adopters will be expected to visit her in her foster home.
