Name: Daisy (Tan) Indie (Black and Tan)
Age: 3 years & 18 months
Breed: Chihuahua
Can I live with Children: Older children only
Can I live with cats: Not tested
Can I live with other dogs: Yes
Fostered In: RCT
Daisy and Indie are mother and daughter Chihuahuas aged 3 years and 18 months respectively. They are being fostered in RCT, South Wales, and have always lived together. They are special little snowflakes. They are typical Chi’s in that they are absolute sweethearts but won’t stand any nonsense. They are very dependent
on their human and are definitely lap dogs.
People – Daisy is quick to trust and greet all humans and will always present herself for a cuddle. Indie takes a few minutes to warm to you but, once she has, is the hungriest for attention. They compete for attention which never results in nastiness but they can get very excited which is why older children would be better. They are constant companions who thrive in the company of humans
Dogs – Daisy and Indie are fine around other dogs although they definitely have little dog syndrome. Any disrespect will be dealt with by warning and this usually does the trick. They mix well with all dogs but are just as happy on their own with their humans.
Cats – The girls have not been tested with cats
In the home – Daisy and Indie are housetrained but won’t hold it in. If they cannot get outside they will use a training pad. They are not destructive at all and spend their days following their human around or sleeping. They don’t seem particularly interested in play although they will chase each other on occasion. They sleep well at night preferring the human bed to a dog bed.
Out and about – Daisy and Indie love their walks and are well behaved in company
Type of home – Daisy and Indie will be well suited to a home that has experience with Chi’s and their little idiosyncrasies. With or without other dogs, as long as they have humans to wrap around their little fingers they will be happy and well adjusted.
Daisy and Indie are neutered, chipped, vaccinated and up to date with their flea and worming treatment. Potential adopters will be expected to travel to meet them in their foster home in South Wales
