Name: Coco
Age: 5 years old
Breed: Cavalier King Charles
Can I live with Children: Yes
Can I live with cats: Not tested
Can I live with other dogs: Yes a resident playful dog is a must
Fostered In: South Wales
Coco is a 5-year old Cavalier King Charles spaniel who is being fostered in RCT, South Wales. She is a delightful ex-puppy farm girl who has had a rotten start in life but she is determined to make up for it.
People – Coco is happy around all people but, at this early stage, tends to fixate on one person (currently foster dad) and is never more than a few feet away. She loved cuddle time with dad on the chair but greats everyone with a propeller tail and big beautiful eyes. Her preference is to be close to her human but is learning that, as long as she knows she is not going to be abandoned, she will nod off a few meters away.
Dogs – Coco spends hours playing with her foster brother so a resident playful friend is a must. Although 5 years old she has re-discovered her youth and is definitely making up for lost time.
Cats – Coco has not been tested with cats.
In the home – Coco’s housetraining is a work in progress but she is dry overnight and does use puppy pads with only the odd near miss. Coco prefers not to be left for long periods but is not destructive at all although she will pinch her humans stuff if they are carless enough to leave it around. She likes to explore the home as long as she is not too far from her human.
Out and about – Coco likes her walks and is inquisitive. She is not bothered by other dogs and is blessed with the Cavaliers good nature. She behaves well at the vets and in company.
Type of home – Coco needs a home where she is centre of attention and has a playmate. She needs a family who will be patient with her and allow her to develop at her own pace and will provide an anchor for her as she becomes a family pet.
Coco is neutered, chipped, vaccinated and up to date with her flea and worming treatment. Potential adopters will be expected to travel to meet her in her foster home in RCT, South Wales
