We were lucky to have adopted Ted from you in 2010, he was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in may 2016 and despite our own vet saying he wasn’t suitable for amputation, he was only 6 and although we knew his time would be limited we found a vet specialist who, after checking his lungs were clear, amputated his front leg. He did fantastically well, chasing squirrels with his whippet brother and had 15 great months we will treasure before we had to let him go when the cancer returned, he was the most wonderful dog ever and we were so lucky to have him
