Name: Elsa
Age: 4
Breed: Lhasa Apso
Can I live with Children: Yes sensible ones
Can I live with cats: Not tested
Can I live with other dogs: Yes, will need at least one other dog
Fostered In: Cardiff
Elsa is a 4-year old Lhasa Apso who is being fostered in Cardiff. She is a delightful little ex-puppy farm girl who just loves attention and fuss. She will certainly let you know if she feels she is being ignored. She leaps around when it’s time for dinner which is a delight to watch. There is a possibility that she is blind, or at least sight impaired, in her right eye.
People – Elsa loves cuddling and being tickled under her chin. She can be slightly wary of people touching her rear end which isn’t unusual. She is fine with people but does need a little time to get used to new faces.
Dogs – Elsa copes well around other dogs and adapts well in a pack environment. She will need company to help her adapt to being a pet.
Cats – Not tested
In the home – Elsa’s toilet training is a work in progress but, other than that, she settles quickly into a home environment. She is happy to be left for short periods as long as she has doggy company. She’s happy playing with whichever toy is available and shares without a problem.
Out and about – She is very good on the lead, walks nicely alongside and likes exploring when given a bit of freedom. She has not been tried off-lead yet.
Type of home – Elsa would fit into any home as long as it has at least one other dog and is not too hectic. Elsa deserves to be a loved and fussed member of a family.
Elsa is neutered, chipped, vaccinated and up to date with her flea and worming treatment. Potential adopters will be expected to travel to meet her in her foster home in Cardiff, South Wales
