Last night we were joined by two new pupsters. Waldon is a 9 month old whippet who has come in due to a change in his family's circumstances and Carrie a 14 week old Shih Tzu with some health problems requiring surgery and both via FOARCT Volunteers. Neither are available for adoption yet but we will update with their progress. CARRIE - REHOMED

Massive thanks to two of our team, Celeste Williams and Emma Jones, who have been out helping cats. This one they managed to bring in and she is now with our emergency vets having treatment for a serious skin infection. The owner has been traced and has signed her over and we have named her Maureen. They also went in search of a cat in Llantrisant with a suspected injury, possibly rta. No sign of that one sadly but hopefully it will be spotted again tomorrow. We are so very lucky to have some pretty fantastic volunteers. Whilst Maureen has been neglected there are some extenuating circumstances which although do not excuse the failure to obtain veterinary treatment this was not an act of deliberate cruelty.

Leia the Staff x pup came to us with a suspected ruptured cruciate but xrays showed she did in fact have a fractured tibia. She had surgery on Friday to pin her leg and she moved to her foster home where she looks like she has made herself quite at home with a family of Staffs and a Rottweiler.

Four 4 week old Cocker Spaniels puppies in recently with health problems. Now in the care of one of the great vet nurses at Maesglas. Two are swimmer puppies, one is tiny and one has tremors. Two other pups from the litter have already died so we are keeping these in our prayers and in our special get well and grow strong thoughts.
